About
Summer Stock Austin — The Little Mermaid (professional production).
Costume construction for Summer Stock Austin’s production of The Little Mermaid, under costume designer Teresa Carson. The work spanned millinery, feather work and textile scaling across the seagull ensemble and the mermaid.
Working with the shop, Elise helped build the seagull vests, cut and sewed their trousers, and created and applied scales. Individually she did all of the feather work, and attached and serged the mermaid’s fins and tails to the bodices.
