About
Duct-tape gown for the Stuck at Prom design contest.
A full-length gown made entirely from duct tape for the Stuck at Prom design contest. Double-layered strips of tape become a workable “fabric”, cut and moulded into a corseted bodice; lengths of coloured tape are pleated into roses and cascaded down the skirt.
The gallery runs from the original rose-dress sketch through the tape “fabric”, the bodice fitting and the rose-making, to the finished dress on the model.
